It all began with a calf named Mayberry who I was generously gifted while I worked a rewarding job on a farm in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Mayberry was the best thing that ever happened to me and for six years was my best friend. I dreamed of one day having my own farm, and always knew I would name it after her. Llfe is full of surprises and sadly, I no longer have my little cow. However, every life lesson she had taught me is engrained into my heart …I couldn’t see how I could name my business after anyone, or anything, else. 

The mission of Mayberry Hills has been a long time dream of mine. After being employed by another dog walking company for some time, I set off on my own in December 2021. I’ve always loved dogs (and all animals for that matter), and even have four of my own, along with two cats! Needless to say, caring for animals is my life. 

More importantly, growing up, I didn’t recognize the stress of not having affordable pet care in the area. As I’ve grown, I now understand that quality pet care is hard to find, particularly if you're on a budget.

My goal is to ensure that high quality, affordable pet care is not just some abstract idea that may seem unattainable, but is a reality. (Besides, who wouldn’t want to spend all day with dogs?!)
